Budding designer Lola Nolan doesn't believe in fashion... she believes in costume. The more expressive the outfit – the more sparkly, more wild – the better. And life is pretty close to perfect for Lola, especially with her hot rocker boyfriend.

That is, until the Bell twins, Calliope and Cricket return to the neighbourhood and unearth a past of hurt that Lola thought was long buried. So when talented inventor Cricket steps out from his twin sister's shadow and back into Lola's life, she must finally face up to a lifetime of feelings for the boy next door. Could the boy from Lola's past be the love of her future?

Fall in love with the international bestseller from queen of young adult fiction, Stephanie Perkins.

All Stephanie Perkins books are honestly the cutest. Sure they all may end the same way, but we do not read books like this for the ending. We read it for the story and the journey along the way. If you are into cute romances that are not too cheesy, I definitely recommend this series. I did like Anna and the French Kiss more than this book but I did not dislike this book at all.
This story follows Lola Nolan, a 17 year old girl living in San Fransisco who is maybe the quirkiest girl I have ever come across. She made a New Year's Resolution to never wear the same outfit twice and she has yet to fail that. Dressing herself in costume rather than clothing. Other than that she lives a pretty normal life. Currently dating a 22 year old musician, (who her dads disapprove of) Lola seems content with her life. But then one morning she sees a moving van next door and that is when everything took a turn for the worst...or so she thought.
I thought this story was great and worth the read. It is rare that I get in the mood for a contemporary, but when I do something like this is just perfect. I would give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars.
What is your favorite book of the three in this series? Let me know!
